Footage We Can Send You
There are 2 collections of archive footage which we can send you to use in your film for The Outlook for Someday. You can buy these collections on MiniDV tape or on DVD as data (DV) files.
For the International collection, the price including postage is $30.
For the New Zealand collection, the price including postage is $15.

To order either or both of the collections, download and print the Archive Footage Order Form. Complete the form and send it to us with your payment by cheque or credit card. Once we’ve received your order, we will send you the footage within 5 working days.

1. International Footage
This collection has a wide variety, including footage of glaciers, polar bears, children, cityscapes, classrooms, protests, factories, farmers, hospitals, markets, refugees, slums...

This collection includes footage of forests, kereru, possums, mountains, sheep, flooding, cows, rivers, sunsets, traffic, factories, windfarms, landfill waste...

Free Footage Online
There are some websites where you can access free footage online.
If you want to use footage from any of the following places in your film for The Outlook for Someday make sure you download it at the best quality possible.
This is a collection of footage from 1927 to 1987, free for anyone to use.
Internet Archive: Stock Footage
These stock footage clips are designed to use in other films. But you can only use some of them in your film for The Outlook for Someday.
The ones you can use are identified as either Creative Commons license: Public Domain or Creative Commons license: Attribution (by)
