Make A Short Film
Anyone up to the age of 20 can enter the challenge
Your film can be any length up to 5 minutes.
It can be any genre you like – drama, documentary, animation, music video, advertisement, video blog, reality tv…
You can shoot it on any camera – film, video, stills camera, webcam, mobile phone…
You can make it individually or in a team

The Forum is a place where you can help each other with questions and discussions about sustainability and film-making.
Last year’s film-makers can share their experiences of The Outlook for Someday.
The Project Team will help with any technical queries.

Have Your Film Screened
All films entered in The Outlook for Someday 2008 will be screened on the Just Focus youth website – provided they are legal, decent and relevant to sustainability.
The 20 Winning Films will be screened:
- Here at The Outlook for Someday website
- On TVNZ6 Family
- At TVNZ Ondemand
- As podcasts on iTunes
There will be a DVD compilation of the Winning Films like the one we have made for the first The Outlook for Someday film challenge.
And we’re planning to make another documentary featuring some the winning films.
